This blog is a visual feast! The writer is a designer out of New York City. She writes casually of design events at the Met and posts pictures of storefronts on the Upper East Side. It is all very glamorous and, frankly, very far removed from my day to day life. Still, its nice to get a peek into a different life and her pictures are beautiful. She is also one of the most consistent bloggers that I have ever seen; She posts almost every day.
The second blog is Domestic PDX. (http://portlanddomesticity.blogspot.com)
This blog is a little more my style, although I have to savor her posts since they come less frequently than Habitually Chic. PDX is the airport code for the Portland International Airport and it has also affectionately become how many folks who live in Portland, Oregon identify the city. Her blog gives you an intimate look into her life which is filled with pictures and text showing all of her domestic adventures. I have this author to thank for my obsession with estate sales. After seeing several of her posts on estate sale finds, I started to search out estate sales in my own neck of the woods and have now become an estate sale junkie. Thank you, Domestic PDX, for my much loved addiction to estate sales!
